With over 4,000 colleges and universities in the US, finding the right fit can be overwhelming and time-consuming. An independent educational consultant brings comprehensive knowledge of schools and provides personalized attention to help your family navigate the admissions process with less stress and more confidence.
I guide you through every step of the college admissions process, from our first meeting to enrollment. I help students identify their strengths and interests, research schools that match their goals, build balanced college lists, and craft authentic applications that tell their unique story.
No ethical consultant can guarantee admissions or has special connections to admissions officers. Instead, I provide the guidance and resources students need to create their most compelling, authentic applications. I work in partnership with families to ensure students are actively engaged in this important process.
Undergraduate consulting works with high school students typically starting junior year (or earlier!), focusing on building a college list, developing the Common App essay and supplements, and preparing for senior year applications. Graduate consulting works with college students at any point in their college career, focusing on identifying programs and faculty that align with a student's research or career goals, developing a personal statement or statement of purpose, and building a competitive application for master's, PhD, or professional programs. The core philosophy is the same for both: finding the right fit, not just the most prestigious name, but the process and priorities shift significantly at the graduate level.
Yes. Gradfit supports students applying to master's programs, PhD programs, and professional graduate programs, including interdisciplinary and specialized tracks like clinical psychology PhD programs and combined psychology/computer science degrees. Guidance covers program and faculty fit, personal statement and statement of purpose development, resume and CV optimization, and application strategy specific to graduate-level admissions.
Gradfit works with students pursuing a wide range of graduate paths, including business degrees (not MBA), occupational and physical therapy (OT/PT), master's and PhD programs in fields such as psychology, English, and history, and MSEd programs. Because expectations vary widely by field, a business school application looks very different from a PhD in the humanities, guidance is tailored to what each specific program and discipline is looking for.
